Futurescope - April 2011
Greetings friends, fans, and future fanatics spanning the globe...
WOW---what an amazing week this was! The two of us filmed a major network primetime TV documentary that will air as an hour-long special on June 21, the day our new book launches. We have to keep the show name and network a secret for now, but here's a hint---it is the NUMBER ONE show on primetime TV! The film crew flew out to follow us around Los Angeles for two whole days, and we did everything but tap dance for this thing! We even gave a reading on camera to an Emmy award-winning news anchor. She was blown away! We can't wait for you to see this groundbreaking special when it airs, so stay tuned...
NOW LET'S TALK PROPHECY!
SO many of our predictions have come true this week: The Yemen President Ali Abdullah Saleh agreed to step down today, as we predicted on the "Be the Light" Radio Show with host Michael Carbone (March 23, 2011). We also predicted on this same show that Japan would NOT have a major nuclear meltdown at the Daiichi power plant. It has now been officially announced that there will not be a meltdown after all, as scientists had feared (according to Yahoo news.com April 19, 2011).
HISTORIC TORNADOES SLAM SEVEN STATES!
Sadly, our prediction of severe storms and tornadoes in the South and Midwest came to pass this week. We had also specifically named "Arkansas and Mississippi" as two of the states that would be seriously hit (predicted on David Baker's radio show "Beyond the Gate" on January 23, 2011).
At least 44 people were killed in the severe weather that ripped across seven southern states from Thursday to Saturday. According to the Associated Press, The National Weather Service is investigating 267 preliminary tornado reports.
Residents of Oklahoma, Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, and Mississippi are now rebuilding their lives in the face of destroyed homes, businesses and schools, as well as the loss of family, friends and neighbors.
In North Carolina---the hardest-hit state---with at least 21 deaths reported, almost 500 homes were destroyed and more than 1,000 homes damaged.
A major tornado slammed Missouri as well. It has been reported that there has never before in history been a major tornado in St. Louis, Missouri! CNN reported today: The historic twister left behind "an incredible trail of devastation" -- but no deaths or life-threatening injuries -- across nine western Missouri communities.
On an interesting side note, various Native American tribes perceived tornadoes in different ways, according to tornadoproject.com. Some saw them as a cleansing agent, sweeping away the negative things of life. Others saw them as a form of revenge for dishonoring the Great Spirit.
MAJOR TEXAS WILDFIRES FORETOLD!
Also, we predicted the wildfires in Texas which have burned with an unprecedented intensity for weeks. We made this prediction on Coast to Coast AM Radio with host George Noory back in June of 2010. So far this season, wildfires have charred 1.7 million acres across the state, destroying hundreds of homes. That's almost twice as much land as usually burns in Texas in a year. Literally every county in Texas except two were on fire! Amazing. Our sincere prayers go out to all the victims and their families, and to all those in the danger zones.
Be safe everyone, and we'll see you in the future...
