OH NO THEY DIDN’T!

This has been such a jam-packed month. Both of the major predictions that we made on ABC’s The View—Hurricane Irene and the 9/11 anniversary terror plot--have happened. Monster Hurricane Irene was a CAT 3 before it hit the U.S. coast, and was 800 miles wide, the size of Europe. Irene, sadly, caused at least 56 deaths and massive flooding from the Carolinas all the way up to Vermont, Maine, and Canada. 65 million people were affected in a dozen states, and damages amounted to 20 billion dollars.

But the craziest thing occurred… During the week that Hurricane Irene was still walloping the entire East Coast, The View re-aired our July 8^th appearance…but wait—our hurricane predictions were mysteriously edited out! 

Yup, you read that right. 

And no explanation given. People wonder why psychics get a bad rap, and this kind of agenda on the part of major networks is one big reason. Wouldn’t you think that The View would be proud that we had made the biggest prophecy ever recorded on television ON THEIR SHOW? So much for “fairness” in allowing different points of view! We think that the producers demanded that we make major predictions on the show to embarrass us, hoping to prove us to be frauds, and they didn’t expect us to be as accurate as we were. Fortunately the original interview is intact and all over the internet. They can’t shut us up that easy!

The other crazy thing is that when The View debuted their fall season a few days later, Barbara Walters and the hosts spent an hour discussing the hurricane and how severe it was. Even Whoopi, whom we had warned, had been hard-hit in her Vermont home by the storm, and was hiding in her basement! But not one mention of our having predicted it on their show. A week later… same thing. The 9/11 anniversary attack plot that we had predicted on The View was all over the headlines, and no love for The Psychic Twins! It looked as if all the hosts had swallowed canaries and someone had forbidden them to talk about us.

Really?? What’s the big fear, guys? 

Haven’t we moved past all this silly superstitious, oooh-psychics-are-scary nonsense? It’s 2011, for cryin’ out loud! The two of us foresee growing receptivity to psychic abilities in coming years. We encourage people to risk going public more with their gifts so that in time our natural intuitive abilities are accepted, rather than dismissed or censored. Someday, we will see an era where psychic intelligence will be valued and appreciated, not met with hostility, judgment, ignorance and fear.
